The Raymond Electrolytic Gold and Silver Equipment employs a sophisticated electrorefining process to purify gold and silver.
Impure gold (doré gold, typically 95-99% pure) is cast into anodes and suspended in an electrolytic cell.
The cell contains an electrolyte of gold chloride (AuCl3) in hydrochloric acid (HCl). Pure gold starter sheets serve as cathodes.
When direct current is applied, gold from the anode dissolves into the electrolyte as Au3+ ions, which then deposit as pure gold onto the cathode. Base metals (e.g., copper, silver) also dissolve but remain in solution, while platinum group metals (PGMs) and silver fall to the bottom as anode sludge.
The electrolyte is continuously circulated and purified to maintain its composition and remove dissolved impurities.
High-purity gold cathodes are harvested, melted, and cast into bars.
Impure silver (doré silver, typically 95-98% pure) is cast into anodes and placed in canvas bags or suspended in electrolytic cells.
The cell contains an electrolyte of silver nitrate (AgNO3) and nitric acid (HNO3). Stainless steel or pure silver sheets serve as cathodes.
When direct current is applied, silver from the anode dissolves into the electrolyte as Ag+ ions, which then deposit as pure silver onto the cathode. Base metals dissolve and remain in solution, while gold and PGMs fall to the bottom as anode sludge.
The electrolyte is continuously circulated and purified to maintain its composition.
High-purity silver crystals or sheets are harvested from the cathodes, washed, dried, and melted into bars.
Raymond Electrolytic Gold and Silver Equipment is engineered for superior performance, reliability, and adaptability, incorporating advanced features inspired by global industry leaders.

I. Working Principle of Gold and Silver Electrolysis Equipment
Electrolysis gold and silver equipment uses the principle of electrolysis, under the action of direct current, the gold and silver ions in the electrolyte are reduced to metal monomers on the cathode and deposited on the cathode plate to realize the extraction or refining of gold and silver. In the electrolytic process, the anode is usually made of gold and silver alloy or scrap to be processed, while the cathode is a pure metal plate or a material with good electrical conductivity.
II, the main types of gold and silver electrolytic equipment
1. Silver electrolytic equipment: equipment specially designed to extract silver from silver-containing waste liquids. This equipment usually has high electrolysis efficiency and good silver recovery rate, and can process all kinds of silver-containing waste liquid, such as photographic waste liquid, electroplating waste liquid and so on.
2. Gold electrolysis equipment: equipment for extracting or refining gold from gold-containing materials. This equipment usually has higher technical requirements and more complex control systems to ensure the extraction efficiency and purity of gold.
III. Advantages of Gold and Silver Electrolytic Equipment
